In the 1840s, a new story in the Jewish saga began. Driven from land to land and from country to county, the first Jews in Alaska found safety, opportunity, and prosperity in the Great Land's untamed country, sharing the state's pioneering spirit and blazing a trail north to the twin futures of Jewish community and Alaskan eternity, a 160-year-old story still being told. The Alaska Jewish History Museum is the record of this story.
